The pivot
In 2024, we built FlowUp, a C2C marketplace where indie developers published AI workflows for users to run. Six months in, we killed it.
The supply side broke. Junior developers wanted to monetize AI but couldn't ship enterprise-grade work. Senior developers who could were already rich from consulting. No middle tier emerged.
So we pivoted. Fiow is now the AI agent dispatcher for B2B. We run the workflow end-to-end. Enterprises pay for outcomes.
Why solo right now
I'm Alex Chang, the solo founder of Fiow as of April 2026.
The original FlowUp team (Kevin Liu, Max Ye, Frank Su) moved on when the C2C thesis closed. I'm grateful for their honesty. Kevin continues to support Fiow as an external distribution partner through Ditto Media.
Solo is temporary. I'm actively looking for a co-founder, ideally US-based with B2B go-to-market experience.
What I'm doing now (April 2026)
- Running three Taiwanese marketing pilots at NT$10K/month each, three-month concierge delivery
- Traveling to LA on April 30 for TW Selects LA at UCLA Anderson School of Management
- Looking for: one US pilot customer, one advisor, one accelerator
